Avatar changes? Round avatar images?

I just noticed a lot of our avatars appear to have a circular or oval looking cutout now.

Is this something we can disable? For the sake of constructive criticism...they look pretty out of place now.

I agree. They all look a little strange now. Like looking through a weird, roundish mirror. Also, not able to bold, italic, underline, etc. No smilies, either.

argh, Admins, please change it back to the rectangle. Everyone's avatar is now off centered... look at mine, Snoopy's head is cut off.

I don't see what you guys are seeing. Avatars are normal to me on my iphone and desktop.

Yeah, like I said above, my avatar's square on my IPhone as well. On my laptop it's oval, though. Didn't used to be until recently. Weird.
