Still amazes me to this day when I was in my 535i in NY listening to the entire event. I visited the site three summers ago and looking at the pools just gave me chills.

We were down at the WTC towers back in summer 1997 while visiting NYC. My dad and I wanted to go up WTC 2. My mother didn't want to go in another tall building (we had already been in the Empire State Bldg.). Yeah, thanks, mom...

We are supposed to go there next Thanksgiving and I fully intend to go to the memorial.

We spent Christmas in NYC in 2013. Memorial was totally worth it. It was really overwhelming. You walk in and there is a huge hole in the ground with names all over it. People are quite, you're taking in all the names and just about when you come to grasp the enormity of what happened, you realize there is another hole in the ground just a short distance away also covered in peoples names. It's quite sobering.
