Best time of year to buy CPO's?

Typically what month(s) does BMW offer the best CPO deals? IE- low interest rates, first payments etc. Right now they have jack. Looking for a '12 or '13 X5 35i. I do not like the new models whatsoever.

I bought my CPO 135i in late Sept 2013 and they had a deal for 0.9% financing

IMO, you should wait until next year (2016) to buy a CPO. 2013 and 2014 were gangbusters for the auto industry.

Assuming about 40% of BMW sales are leases (not sure if that' true, but I bet it is that high), the 2013s should be coming off leases in 2016 and will flood the market with supply, so as a buyer that would be a optimal time to get a CPO car.

that said, I just bought a CPO 2012 X5d this year...lol, it was hard though, I got it through a private deal, no dealers wanted to do a deal below $42k.

The best time is the last few days in December. The next best is the last day in any quarter. All these times is when the sales department are working on making or beating their quotas.

I also suggest to buy cpo in September. I think that this is best time in entire year.
