Renault Clio V6 club meets
Seems to be a lot of enthusiasm for these little cars over the pond, so thought I'd stick up some pics of some of the driving meets from last year, both in Scotland, and the Lake District, mine is the Mars red car with C1CDG on the plate.
Looking forwards to this years meet ups! |

Badass cars. Only real drivers need apply. Its rare to see one, I'd shit bricks if I saw 10 at once! Definitely a car that makes it into my perfect 10 car garage!
Thanks for sharing! |

Thanks mate, yeah aside from organised meet ups, it's been about 6 years since I've seen one on the road on its own! They are becoming more and more scarce now and the prices are soaring!

I was offered an updated one a few years ago for 22000 euro (coincidentally what I paid for my 335xi with 30k miles recently) a german import. I thought it was a bit pricey at the time, and then kids came and I bought a Type R, followed recently by the beamer, otherwise I may well have ended up getting one, great investment, a sure sought-after classic in years to come.
I've never seen one on the roads of Greece in my 12 years here. Were there any forced induction examples at the meet? I hear you can turn what's already a mad car into a raving lunatic with a small supercharger. |

Well I sold one in 2008 for £17k and had a few years off, I bought another one in 2011, which I've had 2 recent offers of £23500 for, but it's not for sale. It's just had it's second full cambelt service, which is an engine out job, and has only done 26000 miles from new in 2003. It's truly a car for keeps.
I believe there is a few in Greece, our owners club www.v6clio.net has members as far afield as Hong Kong and Australia! There is a (famous) YouTube video of a supercharged mk1 v6 but this car is no longer, Forced induction doesn't really work with this car due to packaging and mainly heat issues. It's a car that works at it's best in standard tune, there is plenty faster cars but very very few that feel as special at 10mph, as they do at flat out Here's mine in the Workshop for surgery last month |

Such cool cars. I remember these from one of the car racing games I used to play in college (maybe Gran Turismo?).
