As said by many others, theres no way I'd rock a replica watch. If you don't have the budget (or desire) to rock a high end swiss made timepiece, dont try to pass off a fake as an authentic. There are plenty of beautiful watches out there from Seiko, Invicta, Citizen, ESQ and many other companies that offer great style as well as quality movement (even automatic) and can be had for a few hundred dollars or less. They're great "starter" watches to get into the game (my first was a citizen chronograph that my parent gave me, and it still works perfectly to this day), and you dont have to hide the brand, be happy with what you have!
I have seen some amazing "replica" watches, some so good that jewelers cant even tell the difference, but it still doesnt mean that I'd purchase one or wear one. I'm perfectly content with my Tag Heuer Kirium chronograph as my daily watch (its very low key and subtle, to those who dont know it looks like a $100 Fossil) and break out my newly acquired Omega Seamaster titanium for special occasions, but this is solely for my enjoyment, I could care less about what anyone else thinks. As for the replica car parts debate, people often ask me "are those HRE's?" when looking at my car, but I always respond with something like, "I wish!, they're actually Privats" (which usually leaves people confused). While I acknowledge that my wheels do look like a much more expensive iForged, DPE or HRE product, I'm not putting other center caps on them or telling people about my custom forged wheels. Instead I'm happy to know that I got the same look for much less (while still retaining quality, Privat is made by Konig), and openly state it to whoever asks! Like I said before, regardless of what it is be happy with it, and dont try to front or fake like you have something you dont. Buy the real thing or buy something you can afford instead!
