how do I give people thankyous/rep points

You can appreciate their post by clicking the "Appreciate" button by the Like/Share buttons

At the bottom of each post on the left side there is a site logo and word "appreciate"
It's in a soft font color so it's easy to miss.
Just click it and you give the person a rep point

It's sort of grayed out at the bottom of each post. You can put your mouse pointer over it and it'll darken to show you it's clickable.
