Phil should be awarded for getting another POS scum of the streets. But of course this is fucking liberal ass NYC so they are trying to prosecute him for 2nd degree murder. I'm surprised Al Sharpton isn't at this fucking kids bedside yet promising justice and free Air Jordan's.

So technically shouldn't the kid be hit with attempted murder pointing a loaded firearm at someone? But it's null because he walked away with someone elses property without pulling the trigger...

I'd give my right arm for a pair of Air Jordans.

I'm sorry to say this mate and I'm sorry if anyone takes offence. The fucking liberals have destroyed the once great nation of America.

the big thing is he turned around and went to run the kid over, the window of defending himself closed when the kid left the car and he drove away.

which sucks because he was just helping the police catch him citizen's arrest anyone?

Brandishing is showing the gun
Assault is pointing the gun
Battery is clubbing with the gun
Attempted murder is pulling the trigger and missing or victim survives
Homicide is murder
Tax payer relief shot is when perp ends up in the morgue

Let him off. If the guy pulled a gun and the only reason Phil is alive is that the gun jammed...he gets a pass.

Sorry kid. Pay attention in class and don't pull guns on people. All bets are off after that.

True but it will be hard to tie them Jordan's with one hand. Moron tried to keep it real and got dealt some Old Testament justice.

Arm and a leg...you people crack me up.

I've bought and sold some things on Craigslist, but I've never worried about being robbed. Must be because I don't live in a bad area.

I think it's only a matter of time or luck that something like this hasn't caught up with people in "nice" areas.

This is why some police departments have an area in their facilities designated for online transactions. You can set up the meeting at the police department to hopefully deter events like this.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that this fella doesn't tie his kicks up anyway....it's a style thing. Likely wears his baseball hat half turn to the left too.

Wait, something doesn't seem right with this story. How could this alleged thief have a gun when firearms are highly regulated in NYC? Criminals don't break that sacred law, do they?

First you must question yourself. Would you of done the exact same thing as Phil?

A different post robbery scenario could of been Phil just tracking the boy back to his home and then contacting police. Phil was already keeping an eye on the boy after the robbery and waiting for his moment to strike. But instead of just following him or just contacting authorities for armed robbery, Phil decided to run the kid over.

Now Phil has to face charges. Don't be like Phil.

Phil did the right thing, thieves need to be punished.

Calling police saying a kid stole a pair of my shoes? I doubt the police will look into it.

Why should he be? This kid is a thief and a robber.
