Anyone watch e-sports tournaments?

I'm a CS:GO guy myself, currently watching Dreamhack Malmo. Couple weeks back was the $1 major in Columbus, Ohio.

No, but I was CAL back in 1.6. Can't remember which division. Also ESEA in source.

My son and I watched the COD championships from Melbourne on the weekend. I enjoyed it other than the peanut commentators.

It's only increased, I imagine. DOTA is on ESPN 3 every few months it seems, and the last SC2 tourney was huge, except it was in Asia I think, so no way to attend that. DOTA sometimes takes place in Seattle near Valve, at least.

Former times ago me and my funnier looking half went to live ESL events when they'd done it in Hamburg or Bremen and also onto annual Games Con former in Leipzig and actual in Cologne. Always enjoyed it and was mild amusement.
But COD on normal MP is randomlucking, aside of the purpose of this thread

I would love to go to an ESL event, especially Cologne or Leipzig. I think the next Cologne event is in the summer? It's the next Valve major ($1 million tournament). Just no way I could get over there.

Thats right, next Games Con would be hold into Cologne from 18.8. - 21.8. for public access, all other days only VIP or employed ppl from the game mfrs.
