Briggs & Riley. Need to pick up a new carry-on, though, since the 'International Carry-On' that I usually use doesn't always fit in the overhead (mostly for east coast flights). Sometimes, I just use my Blackhawk backpack since I can fit a small family in it.

Personal bag - can be held as a briefcase, worn as a shoulder bag, or worn as a back pack. carry on This seems to be the larger version... but to show the functionality The carry on is nearing the size of "oversized" for carry on but being that is it fabric, it could easily be stuffed into the proper size. Also, it zips open to have two complete storage compartments for easy packing. They are a bit pricey, but they are very commonly found on craigslist for cheap. |

I use one of three (two when I went to Europe) Lands End pieces: big roller, few day roller, and a suit bag. These bags have seen a decent amount of travel in 10 or more years I've had them. They've held up something unbelievable, IMHO. Targus Drifter II laptop backpack. I have cashed in on Targus' lifetime a few times. They are awesome about it.

For longer trips, I have a Victorinox Werks Traveler 22. For short trips, I use a simple duffel bag from Owen & Fred.

I like rimowa, but I take too many flights and looks like it just went through Afghanistan and survived a couple of IED explosions... Tumi and their ballistics nylon is as tough as they come... Holds up extremely well, customer service is stupendous and the fit / finish is above standard... For frequent travelers, I highly recommend... And in the off chance something goes wrong with your luggage during flight? Most of the larger airports have tumi stores inside of them... Off the top of my head I know for a fact that JFK/LGA do, as does Denver, O'hare, LAX and SFO... Makes repairs / replacements a breeze... Had a zipper break once and was replaced in under 2 minutes at the airport... For free...
