Brilliance-BMW Zinoro 60H
 BIMMERPOST NEWSBrilliance-BMW Zinoro 60H BMW has released new images of the new China-only Zinoro 60H. The new Zinoro 60H replaces the Zinoro 1E which was based on the previous E84 BMW X1. Just to recap, Zinoro is a sub-brand of the BMW-Brilliance joint venture for the Chinese market. The key difference between this vehicle and the standard X1 that we currently get is the fact that its a hybrid vehicle. The drivetrain is a 136HP 1.5L turbo-charged 3 cylinder motor with a 15HP electric motor, for a combined 151HP. You can see why this arrangement won't be sold in North America anytime soon. It is however said to be able to go up to 37 miles in full-electric mode. This will ride on the F48 Li platform, meaning Long Wheel Base. Source: CarNewsChina |

Sad that BMW has to play this game with this country. If they don't, those fxxxkers would simply copy anyways but it still pains me to see this crap going on.

I'm pretty sure because of in country taxes the joint venture makes sense. In Korea there have been similar jv's with Acura, Mercedes, etc.
BMW is a business. People don't get it? Lol
