Iphone Help!!

so i had the iphone when i came out. never updated it. my stupid brother updated it and now it locked me. it has a charger going to a itunes on my screen on the iphone. I tried itunes but it needs the original sim card and it needs to be registered and mine is unlocked so it wont work. is the phone useless now. someone please help me

Updated to the new firmware eh?

What you need is a firmware downgrade to 1.1.1 and then a fresh unlock. That should do it. A lot of folks with 1.1.2/3 NIB are still out of luck in getting their iphones unlocked. I am still waiting for my 1.1.2 to be unlocked...

yes updated it. i cant even do anything on the screen just "slide for emergency call." you have any links that can help me download what i need 2.

If you updated recently it will have 1.1.3 with has not been cracked yet. Someone said they cracked it but wont release the crack until the SDK is out @ end of Feb.

Also even if you downgrade 1.1.3. You are in for a very complicated procedure to downgrade the Baseband also.

Are you not use ATT for the iPhone? The easiest thing to do now is switch to ATT.

Also even if you downgrade 1.1.3. You are in for a very complicated procedure to downgrade the Baseband also.

Are you not using ATT for the iPhone? The easiest thing to do now is switch to ATT.

wrong 1.1.3 has been jailbroken.

Also wrong, switching to ATT would not be the easisest thing to do. It would be more costly aswell.
