I have these in both colors pictured below. I have about 2" in front of my toes to the tip of the shoe. Constant compliments...

To be fair though, i havent bought "dress" shoes in a long time. Im a sneaker and workboot/cowboy boot type of guy.

Did have an engineer show up on site with some extremely pointed shoes this morning. I really wanted to step on them to see where his toe was. And every now and then ill get one of my day laborers showing up with these.
Haha I was kidding, those shoes can look good in some situations. But the ones your day laborers show up wearing....that's a toughie lol.

The curve boot is extremely popular in Mexico. I see them here pretty often too in socal.

Those aren't that bad. Up to 2" is reasonable and allows for a nice design. Beyond that (like gator shoes and such) look pretty silly, but to each his own.

"i don't do pointy-toe shoes" lol what? Are you of the squared face grandad variety?
Yeah... my fashion sense is dead. I don't see anything wrong with those shoes. Then again, I wear shorts and a t-shirt to work. I own one pair of brown and one pair of black dress shoes. My brown shoes are squared off like that. I have two suits that I wear maybe once a year each at the most. The last time I wore a suit was a rented tux for the Emmys last season.
