I bought an E28 new back in 1988, drove it for 150,000 miles and then passed it on to my son who put another 100k+ miles on it. Loved that car. Even with only 125 hp, it was a blast to drive.

Its great that people are restoring these beautiful examples of BMW yesteryear.

He did this mainly by himself in his own garage.
