Dave Chappelle is one of my favorite comedians, possibly the favorite ever. Naturally, I was super excited that he was going to have, not one but, two new specials on Netflix. Was worried that it would be lame but I really enjoyed both. I preferred The Age of Spin a little more. One more is coming since he signed on for three specials.

Deep in the Heart of Texas: Live at Austin City Limits was filmed in 2015.

The Age of Spin: Dave Chappelle Live at the Hollywood Palladium was filmed in 2016.

Has anyone had a chance to see it? Thoughts? What's the chance of Netflix bringing back The Chappelle Show? They are not strangers to resurrecting cancelled shows (i.e., Arrested Development).

Chappelle's Show was and always will be one of my favorite shows. Dave is hilarious, I'm just afraid if they do try to bring the show back, it wouldn't quite be the same after being gone for so long.

Love Dave's stand up. I think the content will be gold but his delivery will hinder his performance due to a major voice change.

Loved the episodes. I did notice the more serious delivery now that his voice has changed and his goofier voice from back in the day isn't there anymore. Still my favorite comedian after all this time.

100% agree. Absolutely loved it, and watched every episode to death. Even this round of stand up isn't the same. He's just not the same guy; voice, energy, etc.
