You know both Netflix and Blockbuster have 2 weeks of free trials, with promotion sometimes up to a month...thats almost 2 months of free movie rentals...

I'm using Blockbusters online..the $9.99 plan
I get 2 mail movies and 2 store exchanges per month...so 4 movies per month not a big saving but better than nothing

It's only a matter of time when the newer movies will begin showing up on the instant watch section more quickly, say a month after release to DVD. It wouldn't make much sense to just stick with older DVD's because they would essentially as a business like to get to a point where DVD's are watched more on-line then dealing with having to keep millions of DVD's on hand and continually snail-mailing them through several warehouses.

I just cancelled netflix so I can just download movies myself, but it's slow and slows down my computer, so I am thinking to go back to netflix or blockbuster... for 1/2 of the time if I want something that "just" released I would have to wait on the quene for a long time... If I get blockbuster, I can go exchange them instore (but most likely they will not have them in stock)

I have netflix. At first I was with Blockbuster but they were always out of the movies on my que. I remember at one point I had 40 movies set up and I think they had 6 of them. With Netflix its pretty rare that they don't have the movie that I want in stock! Plus you do have some movies you can watch online. Also Netflix lets you add movies when they aren't even in the theater yet where Blockbuster only lets you add when they come out on DVD. That's huge for me because usually by the time they are out on DVD I've completly forgotten about them.
