My intro post ..
Thought I would make a post and show off the car, I came from a 2009 AW 335i with basic bolts on tune etc.. I bought it as a "coming home" gift in 2009 when I came home from Iraq... it was a great car.
I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer so figured if I wanted to do something before I can't this was one of them So found a 2015 Yas Marina M4 Thanks to a site sponsor having a fire sale on AG wheels and they got refinished Last edited by JDMKS; 10-31-2018 at 01:15 PM.. |

I bought my M2 a couple of months ago ... I was also diagnosed with stage 4 cancer August 2017. Two surgeries later and on my second round of chemo. Drive the wheels off your new ride and enjoy every minute my friend!

Thanks for the kind words, unfortunately my cancer is not curable, I am on chemo (I take 6 pills a day) so it's manageable and I have been doing blood work etc.. I do have my follow up CT scan tomorrow (after 6 rounds of chemo)
I am hoping for the best and in all reality I have a pretty good attitude about all this |

Thank you, it was something when and after my 1st contract I hated/disliked a lot ..then did a year in Iraq as a govt. contractor and went back to, I've enjoyed my time in uniform.
I appreciate every comment, I'm keeping busy ..I started making shirts to keep busy and my wife will continue the "main" part of it basically using symbolism as a remembrance mechanism (I have a distinct logo) so it's been nice to see all the support |

Sorry to hear about your illness, but it's great that you are keeping busy and positive.
I too went from an alpine white 335 with bolt ons and a tune to a YMB M4. I found there was quite a bit of difference in the feel between the two cars - what do you think? |

Yeah I am trying to keep a positive attitude, it is what it is at this point just doing me Yeah the M4 is a beast vs the 335i totally different in a lot of ways, I laugh at the power delivery etc.. It's stock but I tossed on new wheels and getting the mod bug (looking at a flash tune) |
