Paint Correction Plan for my MBB

So... my new M5 will be here in about 3 weeks. Here is the plan.

Drive home from dealer.

Wash car
Gyeon Tar - to remove any residue from shipping film
Gyeon Iron - to remove some of the surface crap
Clay Disk - To remove the rest of the crap
Rinse Car - To remove soap from disk step
Sonax Perfect Finish Polish - To clean up the paint
Gyeon Prep/Eraser - Clean off the polish oils
Kamikaze Miyabi Coat 2x
Kamikaze ISM Coat 1x
Kamikaze Overcoat

Missing anything?

Thanks!

If you going to do full paint correction then you should ask dealer not to wash the car and leave all the films on.

Note to self: CUTMAX bottle looks exactly like the PERFECT FINISH. Second note: If the gloss level isn't what you expected... READ THE !@@#$%^% BOTTLE LABEL.

I will now go back and re-polish almost the entire car... BLEH.

Paint correction on a brand new car. Is that really necessary? That's a serious question, idk.

No. But I will say there is an improvement from the process. Goes from shiny to jewel-like.

I will say this. Tar the car 2x. So much sticky residue crap from shipping. Honestly, Iron removal/clay was entirely unnecessary. There was literally no red spots at all when I used iron. Paint was pretty much so contaminant free. I think the shipping label crap that they cover the car in does a good job. But leaves you with plenty of adhesive to remove.

Yep. Got it. Weather has been crappy so I haven't taken any good photos yet. Barely taken it out of the garage. Waiting to get the bra and cquartz done on it. Love it. It's like an expensive, beautiful nightmare. Not sure why the photos decided to rotate.
