Aaah, ok I gotcha. I remember this type of House and you're right it DEF is what they today call deep house. We used to call it "Bougie house" because they always seemed to play it in the fancy nightclubs where no one ever danced, they just talked haha.

Yeah I find myself going back to old-school stuff for most genres tbh, including rock, pop and rap. It just felt so much more natural back in the 90s and 80s
