Where can I buy a custom-built E46 M3 sedan?
BMW never offered one from the factory, but if they had, I believe it would've been the greatest BMW ever. I've seen custom 330i’s converted with M3 parts, but it requires far too much work and more capital than I have available.
Does anybody know where I can check out speciality-made vehicles? I feel like asking for an E46 M3 sedan is about like asking for an E60 M5 with a DCT swap, but you do have fools like me who would drop a fortune for certain BMWs (like an F10 M5 Touring). |

A custom car like that might pop up on bring a trailer from time to time but I would expect a premium for that. Dont think you are going to find any place to check them out in person.

Also look into the 330 ZHP, the ultimate sleeper.

as far as i know M3 has different welding setup on the chassis.. for me a sedan E46 d be pretty odd and needless but i believe handling d be different also on sedan.. otherwise yes you can throw almost all parts to a sedan..

I'm sure you already know this, but you're going to have to build it or buy it. And neither route is cheap. That pic in your OP - I've seen extensive pics of the owner's build and it looks impeccable. But you're gonna have to blow him away with a 'godfather' offer to get people like that to part with their labor of love.
Either that or spent countless hours sourcing parts, finding the right fabricators, body shop and installers, and getting your hands dirty. And also spending a lot of money as well. Personally I would go with the first option, since I know my limitations. |
