Do we need a stock and investment sub-forum?

Post your vote.
Recent post got me wondering if it would be worth while creating a sub-forum for investment recommendations and advice. We blow money on bimmers and watches, why not share advice and tips on how to make money. We have the "The Lighter Side" sub-forum which is dead in the water, why not have a more useful one?

I don't trust you turkeys. The crypto thread is a very good example of why.

Is an investment forum discussing stocks and stuff going to get the site owners into hot water with the feds? I vaguely recall some silly regulations about non-brokers providing stock/bond advice being an issue with online public investment forums.....

Then I highly suggest you don't listen to advice from people on the internet.

or head over to Wallstreet Bets....

Not understanding why there needs to be a investment sub on a BMW M forum.

Probably the same reason there's a sub-forum dedicated to wrist watches.

We have sub forum like "Politics" that allows post like "Clinton swooooping in" so having a sub forum in investment sounds like a sane idea. I voted yes.

I think an investment sub-forum makes perfect sense here, for the same reason that a proper DIY sub-forum makes perfect sense on a Subaru board.
