pre-season there are lot of predictions..
and one them is from Formula 1 writers mentioning Leclerc.. though its highly depends on Ferrari's performance this year or i should say how much they wont kill Leclerc's races by weird mistakes or looking like mistakes.. i believe that this season will be Leclerc's top-notch season of his all racing career..

he was a new boy, and he proved a lot in 2019 season to team and to himself.. i believe it ll shave off the bad pressure from him and he can fly this season.. im not sure that much how Ferrari ll be like this season but im sure Leclerc ll get the max out of his car.. what do you guys think?

im dying to see Lewis achieving 2 more titles thats another story..

Ham may have his work cut out this season with both Max and Lec looking to be serious championship material with cars that are expected to be on par with the Merc which will be on the end of its tech advances before the '21 big change, while Seb will be wheel bumping with Bot

Nah a spark was lit under Vettel last season. I predict Leclare doesn't pass Vettel in terms of points this season.

Me too, I reckon Vettel's F1 career will come to an end this year.


As for the original question, if the Ferrari has the pace of the Merc, I can't see why not. He clearly is very fast and just needs a bit more experience. He will certainly feature in the top 3 this year.

Can't see next season being that much different to last year....in the sense that if Ferrari remain reluctant to prioritise Leclerc as the (apparently) quicker driver...then it will be another year of mixed fortunes for the driver pair.
History shows that to win a championship its better to have a faster lead driver and a nearly as fast second driver who job is to be wingman (winning if the lead driver drops out or come second).
Given the results they should let Vettel retire and take on someone like Bottas.

Agreed,but what they say in public might not necessarily be the same as what they do behind closed doors.

I can just imagine they amount of pressure Ferrari must be under, Matteo Binotto in particular, to win the championship this year. I would be surprised if they really give both drivers equal status.

I think you guys are counting out the 4 time World Champ too easily, he is not leaving F1 anytime soon. He is only 32, 2 years younger than Lewis.

Hopefully he proves everyone wrong.
