Best GM (Cadillac) scan tool?

As the title says.

My friend Google, as always, provides more information than can be reasonably sorted through.

I trust this group of car enthusiasts, so the question is posted here. Thanks for any input.

I'm helping a family member sort out a 2011 Cadillac SRX with a CEL (stabilitrak related, in this case).

I use a Gm Tech 2 scanner that is a Chinese clone, bought off ebay. They sell for around $350. Original tech 2 cost over $1000.

I have a Foxwell NT520 Pro that scans GM cars up to 2016.
