I used to work with this guy in the late 80's, he'd been in the Airborne Regiment Pathfinders so he was a bit off the reservation. Anyway that was when everyone had business cards and we all kept them in a box in our lockers. I used to grab a bunch of his business cards and go to the report room and use one of the typewriters (yes that's what we used) and I'd type Horsecock under his name and rank then put them back in the box in his locker. I have a very hard time referring to a single person with a plural pronoun. It really makes zero grammatical sense, there has to be a better option, but I don't know what it is.
