Racing Points team principal, Otmar Szafnauer, said he expects his two drivers to be on the podium at least once. Either he knows they have made a big gain, or he's just being optimistic like all the other teams are before the season starts.

I'm really interested in how he will compare in terms of pace to Kimi or Anotonio. Unfortunately that wont be known until one of his FP1 outings later in the season.

Alfa took him on for a reason; He was barred at Williams from promoting modifications in fact being ignored.No wonder they were back markers.

Yeah, I remember two comments that he made that I think were really indicative of one of the reasons why Williams is doing so poorly. One being that the team only used, at best, 10% of his suggestions on how to improve the car. The second being that Russell was complaining about the same issues that Robert brought up the season prior when he was their reserve/test driver, indicating that Williams had systematically failed to fix/address faults with the car.

Will be interesting to see where Williams end up after qualifying in Australia this year.

Hate to say it but Williams daughter making the decisions probably a lot to do with it.
