With this puzzle piece in place, I hope that Haas and Alfa just get rid of all their drivers (Kimi seems likely to leave on his own volition). Those two teams have a huge selection with Hulk, Perez, and the Ferrari Juniors dominating F2 (Schwartzman, Schumacher, and Illot).

Perez a clear upgrade over Kimi at alfa? RAI reflexively dismissed nowadays, don't get it.

As far as evaluating Seb this year at Ferrari, just no. Car is a dumpster fire. Unreliable, slow, there's no basis to assume that the package is consistently sound in any context (quali, race).

Leclerc stepped up and claimed responsibility for parabolica crash. Nonsense. They're running prius power so went with the "you got this" aero package for some straight line gains.

But yeah, I'm sure the team environment that decided it was a good idea to strip the name off seb's ferrari jacket is delivering him a really solid car weekly.

So happy for him and glad to see he's staying, especially with what appears to be a team on the rise. He'll definitely shake things up for a number of races next year.

I'd bet Sergio is going to Haas but would much rather see Hulk back if it's between the two.

we all saw this coming. hes on Stroll's dad team, do you think they will let him go?

As much as I hate to see an inferior driver stay, Perez did this to Ocon a couple of years back because he had Slim backing

F1 is the only sport where money gets you to the top 20, its a shame.

No mate, anyone with some grey matter would have guessed that Stroll jnr would remain with the team. If you understood my post I was just highlighting the suddenness of the action on a driver that's been in the team for seven years treated like a sack of potatoes.
