Posted a WTB in the classifieds area and I received a message from member

Description and pictures were emailed to me that are an exact copy and paste from this users post:

I am giving them a chance to send pictures with their username and date in them (which in my expierence wont happen), but seeing as that one was marked as sold, this has scam written all over it

BUYER BEWARE, especially new users!!!!!!

I also question this transaction as the images you sent are the exact same as the ones listed by another user on the forums from 2019.

I would suggest a sticky thread be created where members can expose potential scammers. The community can then more easily monitor these turd burglars as they are compiled and grouped together. Admin/mods will then be able to investigate any wrong doing and ban them as needed. It won't eliminate the problem but it may act as a deterrent, thus reducing the occurrences of these WTB associated scammers.

My suggestion is to do away with all classified ads. They seem to draw one-post-wonder forum members, who use the place as their private fee-free eBay and don't add much value to the community.....
