I am going to see it tonight. I have loved the first three since my dad had me watch them when I was a kid. So I am pretty excited. I actually like Shia Lebouf (sp?) so it should be good.

I saw it and liked it. Its a lot like the previous movies and stays true to the franchise. That means that its a cheesy adventure movie with a lot of action. As long as you go expecting a cheesy action film like the original three, then you will be pleased with the movie. If you were never all that impressed with original movies, you will not be by this one.

It was okay. I think the worst Indy movie was the Temple of Doom for the goofiness factor, and the best was a tie between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade (w/ Sean Connery).
It was nice to see Karen Allen and Harrison Ford reunite. The special effects were fun as usual, but after seeing nearly 30 years of special effects since the first movie, it didn't seem as spectacular. If you've never seen any of the previous movies, then you'll think this one is pretty good. Otherwise, the movie wasn't great, not terrible, but predictable and just okay. |

The story, effects, premise, acting, all really lame...I expected so much more after 19 years of no Indy movie...Lucas and Spielberg just mailed that one in for the $$$. Thanks Hollywood, for proving yet again that there is not one original idea left.

Let's put it like this, the movie is exciting and fun to watch. As to the story line, it is definitely way more farfetched than the last three. This kind of put a damper on my experience, because I question everything about the movie. The originals were somewhat believable, but this one was so outlandish it almost bordered on childish to me. But it was a fun movie, and I'll leave it at that.

Well the originals had some believability because they used historic elements. Aliens = wtf.
I think the movie is good, but it's not as good as the previous three. My opinions of the previous three are similar to KSFrogman's.

I watched it and I liked it. It's ultra-super-exaggerated, but I guess that was expected (it's part of the Indiana Jones ingredients)
