I usually do some gift buying on "Prime Day"......
But you really do usually have to know what your shopping for in order to get the best (or any) deals, in my opinion.

I'm a little skeptical of that thing's ability to function as a lawn mower.

I haven't pulled the trigger for Prime Day.... yet.

I had one of those once, at my last house. It worked OK. Big issue was though, it lacks the power to get through the really thick stuff and will bog down. If the grass gets too tall, or if you have a thick lawn, it tends to come out a bit uneven. But for smaller yards it isn't a big deal, just pop the weedeater part out and even up the thick spots.

Now, at my current house, both my front and back yards are naturally forested with a big creek in the back. Not a blade of grass in sight! Only thing I have to do is spray for weeds every 2-4 weeks. I don't miss mowing.

My use for it will mostly be driveway and foundation trim work.... not sure how much I'll use the roller accessory actually as a mower attachment, but think it'll be nice to have around the tree and landscape areas where there's mulch.

Thanks a lot. I had forgotten all about Prime Day, now you guys are gonna make me buy sh!t.

This annoys me....I have wanted one of these spotlight cams for the back yard but I don't really want to spend $200. However, if I order through Alexa they'll knock $60 off??? WHY? I'm on the darn page now.

haha, to force adoption of alexa as a voice enabled ordering platform. They hope that once you do it once, you are going to say "MAN, i cant live without this feature, i need to make ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY DO IT"

Got half-off on dog poop bags and a few dollars off a bottle of Mr Pink suds. I didn't find anything else of interest, even worse selection than last year which was really bad too.

I want to buy a TV for my office but my boss is on vacation and I'm not sure how he would take coming back to a 50" on the wall without asking.

I mean its just like an expensive screen saver right?
