Every time I see the Z8 I think of the time Clarkson drove it mentioning how it was a terrible ride and had the turning circle of a cruise liner.

You mean the Alpina Z8 review? I got to say it looks quite good in Alpina green

Still one of my favorite looking BMW's inside and out. I don't think they're worth what people are asking for them though.

These Z8 were a common sight in South Florida when new. Sat in many of them. 20 years later still a fantastic vehicle.

Correct. Z8 was never a hardcore sports car. It was mostly a boulevard 2 seater drop top.

I drove this Bond car while it was with us for a promo shoot.
It was a fun car to drive if a little tight in the driving seat for over 6 footers.

Absolutely love the Z8! Grew up with a neighbor down the street who dailied one for years. Saw it less and less over time. When I visit home I'll see him around town every once and a while now a days, still getting loved!

Pierce was supposed to be bond like 15 years earlier, but was locked in the Remington Steel contract. It was kind of a consolation prize for the Bond enterprise to get him at all for a couple films. Yes, they were ridiculous. It seems like that’s what always happens when they run out of good content or writing.
