Noticed that Lewis was grinding his teeth during his interview. Has he always done that?

The first sector is characterized by a first extension, final of the last of the 3 DRS zones arranged around the circuit. 2nd sector is a series of medium-speed curves, with the only important braking zone preceding the complex of Turn 1-2.

T13 has banking of 12 degrees and considerable lateral forces, which will also put a considerable amount of stress on the tires. After a series of "kinks" at full throttle, a DRS area follows, curiously "wedged" between Curves 20-21 with the premise of bringing the cars closer together before T22-2 for overtaking opportunities.

In the last sector, another DRS area is set up from T25-27.

Easily done being where the start is to the first turn on the map, if it's only Alonso predicting no issues at the start then some contact or worse can be on the cards.

Max has said that in previous races that he has overheated his tires...which when it happened, he said it forced him to go wide and off course. His not being able to control his car and stay on track certainly creates a problem for him at this venue.

Interesting ..

HAM was going extremely wide (with cold tyres) at Silverstone in the Copse turn while he rammed MAX in the wall .

HAM's dirty tricks , he even pushed Checo into the pitlane ..

Lighting seems to be lacking around the track, shadowing, hot spots and dimly lit areas are noticeable. Promoter needs some axillary lighting and glare shields ASAP.

Indeed...as previously pointed out, drivers that have trouble keeping their car on the track will pay a penalty (contacting the walls).

Well, tyre warmers will still be needed and it's natural for the fastest cars to come close to overheating tyres.

You know, I wish f1 instead of recyling the used tires would let fans buy them for cheap. Maybe we just cover shipping costs and packaging costs. I'd like a soft compound quali tire, that would be cool.
