Lot of controversies and this race will be remembered for a very long time. One of the best sport finale or entertainments, i have ever seen.

With the accidents in the past, Max finally had some luck. I am not a fan for either of them but i am glad Max won.

Needed a red flag, to restart the race not the protracted yellow flag.

Max finally got some good luck mixed with his great racing.

Great RBR strategy, great drive by Checo, Max never gave up.

Congrats Max!

Both drivers deserve to win. It took a miracle and some unlapping shenanigans, but either way it was a fun season.

And remember. This really wasn’t as close as it seemed. Max was straight up taken out of two races by Mercedes’. Fortunately, the Mercedes’ dirty tricks didn’t work.

All year I knew it was Lewis vs Max and could only hope for a close fight throughout with the title decider at the last race so I got exactly what I hoped for. To be honest, outwardly I didn’t have a preference on who won but inwardly I was tugging a bit for Max as any first time champion is a very cool thing and I’m a Schumi fan and it’d be a bit sad to see his 7 WDCs being surpassed.

That being said Max clearly didn’t having the pace and got three huge gifts during the race with the VSC, SC and that bullshit from Masi to not follow standard SC procedure letting the backmarkers between Max and Lewis pass and not the rest and then not letting them catch up to the leaders. I would have been happy for Maxto become champion through a fair win but this was an absolute bullshit win gifted to him from Masi.

Only topper would be Yuki on the podium.

Hammy raced fair, classy speech on his part despite being clearly gutted. Merc strategy should have bet on Hammy’s ability to challenge with a new tire set. For what ever reason, they missed a few opportunities to pit Hammy.

Not sure what anyone think would happen. Worn out hard tyres vs. fresher soft tyres. The driver of Max's caliber is going pass even someone like Hamilton. There was no way HAM was going to defend that maybe if they were in equal tyres. I think that's the biggest takeaway from me.

For the sport, I agree with ending it with a race and not a safety car. But when one team completely essentially walked the other and essentially had no answer for pace, and then you make the decision for one lap? It was only going to end one way.

MAX VS HAM - Nobody took the bet and if they did, it really was looking like I was going to lose BUT, you never say never until the very end. Some of you were giving up already

For some reason, perhaps because HAM was leading was too cautious of losing track position, and not pitting HAM given TWO opportunities. Maybe the thought was then HAM would lose track position to VER and the race ended behind safety car.
