My guess is your opt-out was later than the date they mailed it. I haven't received any post cards lately.

They just..... keep..... coming.

Opted out a fair while ago.

STILL getting spammed.

Way to set the "listen to the desires of your members", bar there, BMWCCA.

Opted out, keep getting cards. Who from the cca could possibly have thought this was a good idea? Plug a budget hole maybe??

Safe assumption that the idea came from the Executive Director to help cover Club expenses, but you can be sure the Board of Directors—your elected representatives—had to approve it. No matter, it is certainly not the way we used to run the largest independent single-marque car club in the world. We all make poor choices at some time in our lives, but this smacks of a group effort from a group that's forgotten what a car club should be, and is desperately trying to remain solvent. Could it be that the "regional" BimmerLife publication is bankrupting the Club? Anyone seen a financial statement recently?

The West Coast Bimmer Life isn’t worth the paper it is printed on. A totally useless publication.

Don't understand the BimmerLife thing.... Plus the more frequent liberal writings in the Roundel and BimmerLife turn me off, especially the lastest Jouret piece in BimmerLife. We're a fricking car club. If I wanted to be lectured about climate change I'd attend a Biden rally.

In all fairness, what Jackie was talking about wasn't "climate-change" per se, but rather BMW's interpretation of it at a new BMW Museum Munich exhibit. My first visit to the BMW factory included a museum trip over four decades ago where the theme of the exhibit at that time was depicted through a herd of sheep wandering throughout the time-arranged vehicles, terminating in an entire flock surrounding a figure of Charlie Chaplin as Hitler. They were being politically and historically aware back then without white-washing (well, maybe) BMW's history during the Nazi regime, the Holocaust, and the war in general. I'm sure it was offensive to many extremes and on several levels. But they weren't ignoring that period, either. I hope we survive to the point in time where we can look back on our history of climate change and how we managed to survive it and how it affected personal transportation.

Yeah, I'm sure we will "survive". Again, I'm glad they are so woke, but I don't prefer their liberal writings in my car magazine.

I will crawl out on a limb to say I agree with you 100%. On all of it.

Well, it's not "your" car magazine . . . but it is your Club if you're a member. So tell someone what you think. Write your counterpoint and see it in print. God knows Satch'll print nearly anything to fill a page.

Yeah, I can about see how that would go. About a .73% chance of it being printed. And then a retort from Satch regarding how I should get woke. I read the mag - I get their direction.
