Ah World War II. Great example of how things don't always have to be the best, just simply good enough.

How familiar are you with Germany's advances into the Soviet Union during the war?

Or manufactured in quantities that you can't blow them up as fast as they're being built.

The Soviet Union was fighting ONLY on the Eastern Europe front. The UK was fighting only on the Western Europe front (with the exception of some minor battles in Africa and Middle east I believe) The US came very late in the war and fought on the Western Europe front but did not get to Germany/Berlin except mainly by air bombings and then after taking some massive casualties from the Japanese they decided to drop a couple of Atomic Bombs. I don't have too much respect for the military aspect of the US in WW2 because they came very late in the war, they quickly dropped a couple of bombs on Japan because they wouldn't surrender and they didn't even march to Berlin, the Soviets did. So all they did, was invade Normandy along with other 5-6 nations, so they were only about 50% of the invasion and drop a couple of bombs on Japan.

The USSR fought primarily on the German front but did participate in action against the Japanese toward the end of the war. The UK fought against the Japanese throughout Southeast Asia, most notably, Singapore and Burma. El Alamein in North Africa cannot be considered a minor battle. The US entered the war in 1941 and fought in North Africa in 1942 and Italy prior to the Normandy landing in 1944. They did march to Berlin but, by agreement, the Soviets were given the honor of taking the city.

SteelTorque..... If you really are interested in the history of the war, there are some really good books.... Don't learn history with video games!

Here's another one for ya:
"On July 30th of 1944 near Les Loges in Normandy, 3 Jagdpanthers from schwere Panzer Jaeger Abteilung 654 ambushed a squadron of British 6th Guards Tank Brigade destroying some 10-11 Churchill tanks in a short period of two minutes."
