Charleston
Headed there for a Wed - Sun to celebrate our 13 yr anniversary.
Rented a place on Fulton St near the French Quarter. Anything restaurants or bars that are fantastic? Looking over this list for ideas: https://www.airbnb.com/s/French-Quar..._RATED.OVERALL |

Ah, Chucktown. I live in one. No fantastic anything here, though.
Kudos on your 13th. Hope it's a great weekend.

-Hymen's seafood on Meeting St gets a lot of attention. It's not nearly as good as the praise it gets, but worth thinking about. -82 Queen at 82 Queen St -High Cotton on E. Bay St -maybe lunch at Fleet Landing. Decent with a view of the harbour. Plenty more in or close to Fulton St. Do you know Charleston very well? If not, walk around get lost in the area south of Broad St. Very pretty houses with formal gardens. And the Battery is worth a stroll. Upper King St has quite a few newer, less formal trendy places. That area is a long walk from where you will be. Rodney Scott's Bar-b-Q is popular and good except they serve bbq in nouvelle cuisine portions. You're going at a what is normally a good time. Weather and less tourists. Except Ian might ruin it for you. Good luck.

Oak is a fantastic steak house. There's also some great oyster raw bars (Darling Oyster bar on King street is my favorite) and you'll be there for oyster season.

. It would be bad luck to leave an area hit by a storm to go to where the storm is heading
