Oh man where to start. I'm finding this hilarious and amazing at the same time and did a quick forum search and I don't think I found a reference to this?

Okay so I was checking my email and saw some BMW spam that caught my interest:

"[my name], we found a road that matches your BMW's Hofmeister Kink"

In the email I almost laugh out loud in real life when I see this:

It gets better. It links out to this website: https://www.hofmeisterkink.com/landi...8491364&zoom=3

These maniacs have mapped out where every hofmeister kink is in the US and you can filter by model. Here is the US map unfiltered by model:

This is so quirky and amazing and I thought I had to share it.

I'm weird and use this phone app named Fog of World to track everywhere I've been. Attached is a screenshot so you can see what I mean

I love the idea of exploring new roads and places and so this BMW campaign really resonates with me ��

I used this app to confirm I have in fact not driven on this M2 hofmeister kink.

I love that the website lets me track which locations I've visited ��

But I don't see a way to sign-in so I guess it persists it via cookies. Not very reliable......

I was not looking for a match of my car, I just did the search where you get them all.

I now see Kia's with both the kink, as well as stylized BMW-like front grills. I have to look closely now to see if the incoming car is a BMW or not.

I was wondering that myself. I guess you can make a program that searches for roads that follow the general pattern plus and minus a certain amount of deviation. Pretty clever indeed!

If someone did that manually, hats off to them!
