Yep. It sh!ts all over Ultimate Driving Machine moniker....which has already been sh!t on for close to a decade.

It's good news for the advancement in tech...but the driver is further away from driving the car. So for some its bragging rights....but for others its just the demise of driving fun.

I'd still like to own one of these....but I would still need something that provides the driver's experience I'm looking for. Knowing that the latter is going away makes headlines like these depressing. "Hand of God" to cars is like herpes in the bedroom.

Well, these EV cars were heavier than many of their gas powered counterparts. EVs dominated. And yes, this is track conditions, not a drag strip.

You’re not really using a hill climb as an indicator of circuit track performance, are you?

i thought this sort of stuff was already present in teslas, taycans, etc

their launch systems can make thousands of calculations per second to determine which wheel needs more power and which doesn't.

Until an EV wins LeMan or some other endurance race, I’m not interested.

Fender flares on that car look epic even with the camo.

Careful… I’m sure they’re working to lower the bar so EVs can compete in “endurance” races. Endurance is a subjective term.
