Protecting Door Sills & Headrest Badges

I've had my '22 G82 Comp since 11/2021, and every time I get in the car I have the urge to remove the factory blue film that covers the two door sills and the illuminated badges on the headrests - but then I stop myself and to this day, they remain.

I'm curious if anyone has thought up something to protect either the door sills or headrest badges? My car is fully PPF'd / ceramic coated / ceramic tinted / leather protected / screen protected / etc, and I'm hesitant to "expose" these remaining pieces. I spoke to my detailer, who mentioned that he hadn't had anyone else ask for these areas to get covered, and that a lot of owners will simply never remove the blue film.

Any suggestions? Have you simply kept either/both spots covered in your car or peeled off the film?

Man, this is wild. Just remove the tape and enjoy the car. Being too OCD will seriously take away from the experience.

If it bothers you, you could always just put some run of the mill PPF on the sills? If it gets scratched up it’s easy to replace. The headrests is a head scratcher… sorry couldn’t help myself on that pun!

After a year of ownership, my son pointed out to me that I still had the blue plastic over the seat badges. Better late than never I guess.
