Frozen paint question

Can I take my car to a self wash place and just hit it with high pressure water (no soap) in-between washes? Just want a way to blast off any after rain dirt, etc..

You should be fine. I've been doing that for three years in between washes with no issue.

I actually think that’s a great tactic. You’re theoretically touching the paint less by doing this, which is important. I’d just be sure that there’s a spot free rinse, and that it’s actually spot free. Water etching on frozen from bad water is no good.

I tried it and I think it worked well, the spot free rinse didn't really seem to work as there was still a bit of water spotting on the windows, but little on the paint.
