waiting 2027
BMW X5 2027 with four different power trains
My wife where going to purchase a X5 50e soon but after reading post after post we decided that we will wait for the new MODEL their are another issues going on with the 50e at this time Thanks for all the info Still looking for paint samples |

But on the new model you will not know if it has its own problems, until it has been on market for a couple of years!

True but with the economy and on going raising of the rate by the fed and current Model
Issues maybe they'll have the kinks worked out of the hybrid system by then and maybe I'll have found MY BMW GREY COLOR SAMPLES BY THEN |

No way I could wait that long if I was considering buying a new car now. I'd end up getting an X5 now and then a new one in 2027. Also, I've never shied away from getting a car its first model year. I can't say I've ever had an issue with it

Typically, the most trouble free cars are found at the end of a model run as most of the bugs have been worked out.
Plug in hybrids will never be reliable IMHO. They are just too complicated and have too many things to go wrong. I used to own one (not a BMW) and was blown away by the complexity. It's a wonder they work at all. |
