New X2 M35i unclear interior option

Hi guys, looking for the new X2. My local dealer has one arriving in February, but it has one unclear detail. The interior option says KUKP - Coral Red/Black, Alcantara/Veganza Upholstery, which is weird as KUKP stands for perforated Veganza. The dealer can't confirm whether alcantara is gonna be included. Maybe someone noticed the same and have any guesses if it's a mistake or something special?

Here is the X1 35i ordering guide. I think it's pretty clear that KUKP is Coral Red/Black Veganza, and is not Alcantara. I can't imagine the same code would mean something different on the X2.

I think sometimes folks get confused by the "KT" designation at the top of the section where it lists both, because depending on the specific option below, you could choose either.

Looks a mistake, it's either Red / Black interior or the Alcantara/Veganza not both. The latter is black only.

don't judge me, but I can't imagine buying another car without Alcantara seats. they feel nice and keep my firmly planted in the seat.(with the help of the sport seat bolsters) Of course, genuine suede will do.. but they are rare and expensive, eh?

KUKP is the code for the red sport seats, KTNL is the code for the alcantara sport seats

Rare, yes. Expensive? They are no-cost option in the X1, and also in the Volvo XC40. I don't know off the top of my head other cars that offer them - maybe real suede in some high-end models.

yeah, I meant real suede was expensive.

by the way.... somehow I thought the title of this thread said:

"New X2 M35i nuclear interior option"

I was like "wow... BMW has some fancy new interior options for 2024?"
