I’ve got the acoustic pedestrian malfunction error. The parking assistance and driver assistance are not working and I’m not hearing any sound from the speakers for the radio, indicators, iconic sounds, pedestrian protection,..

it goes away on its own and comes back on its own. Very annoying and also unsafe.

I have read a lot older posts with this kind of issues on other blogs but not with this car.
Also never with a clear solution.

Someone knows how to fix this?
Already asked the dealer but they don’t know what would cause this.

In my experience, it's usually one of two things:
1) iDrive glitch - hold down volume control for 20-30s until it reboots
2) Battery charge issues - put on charge for 24-36 to recondition the battery.
