M Sport Pack Pro
Hi,
Has anyone recently received their X1 with the M Sport Pack Pro? Could you tell me what you got included? We had placed an order for an X1 back last Feb and then added the M Sport Pack Pro which included tinted/sun protection windows, 20inch alloys, upgraded sound system etc. Recently been told our car has now arrived at the dealer but from the video looks like the tinted windows are nor included Don't know what's happened. Awaiting for the dealer to get back to me. Thanks. H. |

The pro pack is no longer available, you can add the sun protection glass for an extra £330 20” wheels for £1530 and Harmon Kardon for £660. I would go and check it out and make sure you are happy before they register it to you.

Thanks for getting back. Managed to speak to dealer and confirmed that the tinted windows and hardon kardon speakers not included anymore.
A bit disappointed as no one told us. Pretty poor communication from BMW for not informing dealers about changes etc so they can tell their customers. The dealers going to check if they can sort out the tinted windows themselves or reduce the price so we can get it done privately. So far, not so great experience from ordering up to now. |

Loads of dealers have gone back to customers to tell them that BMW has changed spec levels and they need to pay more to keep the matched spec. It sounds like your dealer isn’t being entirely honest with you.
Plenty of posts with people having this discussion in the last 6 months due to things no longer being included and it would cost them extra to keep the spec. Seems your dealer has simply allowed things to be dropped off. |

Be careful though at his offer - I suspect that, if the dealer is going to sort the tinted windows, he will get a “specialist” installer to apply a film tint to the glass. I had it done on a previous Audi and while it was ok the tell tale was that the rear window heating elements are very visible with after market tints and at night the headlights of following cars can cause a “shimmer” being visible in the rearview mirror along the elements. Also, not sure how robust the film is if you have children or dogs in the back scratching the windows. |

Thanks all for giving info.
So apparently the dealer wasn't told by BMW that the car was going to be a 2024 model instead of 2023. This meant the technology pack and alloys are extra even though allows are included in the m sport pro pack. It's working out to be more than £100 extra month. We pretty much gutted. I would thought BMW would inform their dealers the changes taking place etc. Waited 11 months for this 💩 to happen. |

Personally I would reject and not accept it. There are some nearly new X1 showing up at nice discounts on BMW used that will be similar and better for your soul than accepting something you don’t really want at a higher cost. It’s certainly worth having a good look and tell them you want to consider your options before you accept.
As I posted before all other dealers have had to go back to customers telling them of the spec change and the extra you need to pay, after 11 month wait I’d role the dice. |

Ah ok we buy outright so the lower cost initially works better but can see where the finance on used can screw things. Shame it’s an unpleasant way to get a new car.

Picked up mine yesterday. Mine included everything in all the packs as ordered back in March last year. I had the Comfort Pack, M Sport Pack, M Sport Pro Pack, Technology Plus Pack and Driving Asst Professional. My dealer contacted me around November last year and advised me that BMW had increased prices and made changes. I couldn't change the order at this stage and so kept everything as ordered, so I have everything listed in all the packs from March. The only thing missing is the glove box light and M Sport door trims as others have mentioned in other threads. On the plus side, got red brake calipers that look quite good.

Not bad. Did you pay extra because of the price increase? |

So, a wee update. Dealer taking the hit on the extra costs. So our payments will stay the same, which I am happy with but still disappointed that we could get the extras we wanted because lack of communication.

The price of my car had gone up £5k from ordering to delivery. Dealer couldn't honour price agreed when ordered (its in the T&Cs as well unfortunately). Anyway, dealer came through and met me part way and covered nearly £4k of the increase so wasn't too bad in the end. I was given the choice of getting my deposit back and walking away or paying the extra. Since every other car I might have gone for had gone up and I'd already waited 9 months at this stage, the decision was really made for me.
