Clear emission inspection?

Is there a way to clear the emission inspection service reminder? My car was already inspected like a month ago and I guess they never cleared it. The option to clear it doesn't show up in the service menu to reset an oil change reminder. Not sure how that reminder works anyway because not all states have emissions inspections required.
