BMW Maps thru Connected Drive

Dumb question (USA vehicles): Does this mean the BMW map feature will not be available without a paid subscription after April 13th? If so, what's the subscription cost? If it's a paid feature I'll probably just use Android Auto for navigation.

It’s not a US thing is all ID9 it seems and yes apparently some standard features on ID8 are a paid function on ID9 but you also get extra features as well.

Believe things like the real time traffic goes into the premium for example.
