Question UK X1 Headlight Question?

When parked up with the engine running, how the hell do you turn the headlights off so that i aren't dazzling other road uses?
I cannot find a switch anywhere to turn these off so that just the side lights are left on like a normal car. 🤔

Have you tried pressing the auto light switch?

Yes, still doesn't allow the headlights to be switched off.

That’s odd, according to the manual that should do it.

Thanks for that.
I have just tried the above and it doesn't work on a UK car. 🤔
You only have the option to turn them off when the engine is switched off. You cannot switch them off while the engine is running. 🤬
That goes against the law in this country as you are not supposed to be parked up with your headlights on. 🤔
Or so a copper once told me many moons ago. 😀

Thanks once again for the bedtime read 😀
It must be a country thing depending on the laws of that market. Here in the UK we don't get some of the options that the Americans get. So i am guessing that the answer is no, we cannot turn off the headlights when parked with the engine running. How bazaar. 🤔
