Hi Got a 2024 x1 25e, when i close my seat belt the driver seat moves forward to my preferred position , only problem is when i remove the seat bet to get out say for petrol the auto setting which reverses the seat crushes and people seated behind me. the sensor detects them but does not stop the seat ,any help in solving would be much appreciated. regards

Have you tried
Seat setting => uncheck Comfort Entry/Access

Yes — disengage the comfort access mode so drivers seat stays in your preferred position & does not move when disengaging belt.

Question! Are there any vehicles, by any manufacturer, that can be set to do what you’re asking??? 🧐🤔
