Just bought a 2016 F34 335iX M sport
As title, with a clean Carfax and 36000 miles. The car looks new, smells new and drives great. Would you pay 6k for a 4 yrs, 90000 miles extended warranty from LGM (SecureDrive) for a car like this? Well, I am actually in BC, so the car is 57000 km and the warranty costs me 8K CAD, 1/3 of the car price. I still have time to cancel the warranty, should I do it?

That's a crap load of money. Keep it, save it, invest it, use it as needed for repairs.

Extended warranties are usually a bad investment. I personally would cancel it.

I was actually in the same boat with a 2019 X5 xDrive40i w/97k with a good service history at the dealer. A little too old for their CPO but other than that, it's a clean X5 with some dings. The extended warranty was ~$8K to $12K USD and I decided not to because things that normally need replacing/fail at this age of the vehicle were not covered in the contract. Ask for a copy of the contract read it and see if it's worth it. It wasn't for us.
