WTF is with this EV Bag?

Hi all,

I had $75 burning a hole in my pocket LOL, so I decided to buy the OEM EV Bag Stand for my 2024 X5 50e.

Part #: 61-44-9-494-458 (I could only find this link: https://bmw.click/product/standard-charging-cable-bag/)

Is it just me, or is this the dumbest thing I have ever seen? How the hell am I supposed to use this? Just toss the $200 EV cord and charger in there like a Walmart shopping bag?

Personally, I would opt for the Louis Vuitton or Gucci charging bag.

Well, I’m no expert but I would guess you put the cable inside the bag, roll the top to take up any excess material and clip it closed then optionally use the carabiner to secure it somewhere.

my '22 i4 came with one, the bag is meh. I don't use it since I can't fit the charger and cable in the rear (HK sub taking of 1/2 the space ) floor storage.

That's a weird misprint on the BMW site. This bag is $49.52 list and can be gotten for $39.74

You can't buy a button from Lous Vuitton for $39.74
