Just parked her in the driveway for the first time. She drives nice. Handles well. Everything you would expect. Liking almost everything.

But I don’t know if I’m fond of the Infotainment system. One song/channel at a time? My 10 year old X3 gave me 3 at a time and I could scroll thru them. << >> is pretty weak. Need some work around for that. (I know… search).

Also need to soften the ride a bit. The roads we were on are pretty chewed up (welcome to PA USA). I read somewhere it’s doable via the settings.

I did the ID9 update to 03.2024.40. Immediately after, the car couldn’t find the fob or my phone. It finally came around. Seems to all be working now.

I guess I’m a member of the club now.

Suspension settings cannot be changed. This is a common misconception with the X1 due to the fact that BMW markets it as “adaptive suspension”, when in reality the dampers are just frequency selective dampers.

Thanks for that. IF they did it for XM, then it may be added in a future update. I'm just surprised at the lack of intuitiveness in the system. BMW can (and should) do better.

The station scrolling not only works for XM.
As another note, I changed my viewing settings for stations to show in the screen in front of driver NOT the HUD because I’ve found the HUD is diminished (less bright) when using Polarized sunglasses 😎 which I always wear in daylight.
