I love my X1(regular xDrive28i M Sport), but the AC is horrible. I thought it was because I didn't have window tint. I got it tinted last week with xpel prime xr plus 35% all around. It only made the car slightly cooler... but the AC still can't keep up with 90-degree weather.(warm and humid)

Even an inexpensive 2023 Honda Civic's AC can easily make me feel freezing cold... while my X1's AC, even at "low" with fan at max speed, can't make me comfortable.
I think you both having something wrong with the cars or the settings. Was 34degC (95ish) here when we first had the car and it was like an icebox and we can’t tint like you, can by law.

thats' what I originally thought... but both of the 2023 X1 loaners that the dealer had behaved the same way. (set to "low" and "Max AC" with fan on max)

perhaps it's because my area is just too hot and humid.... always 95 or above, with high humidity. during the day, the inside of my garage is well over 100 with 80% humidity.

We had 35°C over the weekend. I usually precondition the car 15 mins before getting in and then keep the AC setting on level 1 or 2. Managed perfectly with 33-35°C for the majority of the drives, with the occasionally boost to level 3.

If you want more direct air, turn off the automatic climate and set the vents to allow air to come out only from the main vents.

So we’ve tried that but air still comes out of the completely worthless vents between the infotainment screen and windshield. Total waste.

Even if we close all vents but the two closest to the driver….asthmatic blowing out of a straw.

It’s god awful, and the car was nearly $60k. Unbelievable.

You need to get it checked. Something is definitely wrong

As above it can blow like a gale and very cold at the same time, unless the US is getting AC different to the EU but it should be better not worse.
